Play-offs are where it counts and everyone who can stand up is thrown into the fire in a desperate hope that they will get out alive, or at least get out with the ball! This years play-offs cost the League 970tv lost. A high score, although still 140tv less than play-offs last season. Still we made it at 750tv higher loss than last season. In fact, 16860tv lost is the highest loss ever in a DLE season! A toast to all the coaches and teams that made this record possible!
Play-offs also meant five new Medals. Here are the Winners!
- A DA Bronze Medal to Baker Mayfield of the Avalanche
- A DA Bronze Medal to Shane Ray of the Greenskins. This is his second, so he gets it with Crossed Maces.
- A DA Bronze Medal to Nate Kelly of the Foxes. This is his third, so he gets it with Crossed Swords.
- Two (!) DA Bronze Medals to “Big Ben” Banogu of the Sluggers, won in two different play-off matches. He has one from before, so he gets the first one with Crossed Maces and the second one with Crossed Swords.
Two Medal Holders left us this week, and both were Knights players. Veteran quarterback Matt Redfeld was one of them. He held a Von Kassel Silver Medal. The other was superstar blitzer Finn Castrich. He held a Dietmar Althoff Bronze Medal. Rest in peace, brothers!
