DA Awards – week 12 update

Fantastic! Superb! Almost all the teams pitched in this week, and created a total loss of 1270tv! That’s a New weekly record! At the DA Awards Office we really do not know how to celebrate this exceptional news. A thanks to all teams and  coaches are definitely in order. However, we want to remind the teams and coaches that the purpose is to excite the spectators, not for the strong teams to trash the weak ones. Thus, we use this opportunity to remind the coaches that no Medals are handed out for retiring players on teams with a tw lower than 1200.Otherwise, keep up the good work!

When it comes to Medals, we have seven Medals to hand out this week. First off, a DA Bronze Medal goes to A.J.Derby of the 49ers. The more prestigious DA Silver medal is handed out to three players this week; B.J.Dubose of the 49ers, Albert Hudson of the Wolfskins and Jack Pardee of the Foxes. There is also one Von Kassel Bronze Medal to Jess Hagler of the Thunder and two VK Silver Medals to Logan Mankins of the 49ers and Matt Forte of the Classics. Well done! Also, we note that Mark Brown of the Manticores, former recipient of a DA Silver Medal is no longer among us. Likewise, Reggie Mathis of the Classics and Aubrey Barton of the Gunners, both former recipients of a DA Bronze Medal has also handed in their towels. Finally, Amin “Anvil” Asikainen of the Manticores, the first ever recipient of the Crossed Swords distinction which he got for his Third DA Bronze Medal, is also dead. Long may they live in our memories.
