DA Awards – week 13 update

The sad truth may be that last week’s record was only an outlier. On the other hand, last week’s record may have been so exhausting almost nobody had energy left to fight in this one. Be that as it may, injuries only caused 440tv loss this week. That was 280tv lower than same week last season, but we are still 900tv ahead of season 6. And we already have 260tv lost in week 14, and need only 110tv more in 9 matches to exceed last season’s week 14 score. Make it happen, teams!

When it comes to Medals, we have only three confirmed Medals to hand out this week. First off, a DA Bronze Medal goes to Brandon Scherff of the Thunderbolts. This is his second award, so he gets it with crossed Maces. We also have to Von Kassel Medals to hand out. One in Bronze goes to Jason Witten of the Grizzlies. He was killed in the same match, however, and is thus the first to receive a DA award posthumously. A VK Silver Medal goes to Al Giardello of the Sluggers. UPDATE! It has noe become Clear that there is a fourth Medal to hand out in week 13. Ann-Katrin Lexer of the Crimson Cascade has been awarded a Von Kassel Bronze Medal for the match against the Manticores. This is her third, so she is the first ever player to get a Von Kassel Award with crossed swords! Well done!

No former recipients died or retired this week, except for the already mentioned Jason Witten of the Grizzlies!
