DA Awards season 8 – week 12 update

Finally anoher great week! Clocking in at 1050 tv lost, week 12 is the second best week so far this season. Never mind that last season’s week 12 had 1270tv lost, and thus that we lost another 220tv in the accumulated standings this season, we simply cannot be dissatisfied with a week that ends with more than 1000tv lost. We also got five Medals to hand out this week. First off is a Dietmar Althoff Bronze Medal for Adine Carr of the Marauders. Then there is two DA Silver Medals, one for Edd de Vries of the Universe and one for Juqua Parker of the Sluggers. Parker does this feat for the second time and thus gets the Medal with Crossed Maces. Alf Qvarnstrom gets the DA Gold Medal, while the fifth medal is a VK Silver Medal for Xavier Dickson of the Cardinals. With that, this seasoned fouler finally gets a Medal! Well done, all five!

Two former Medal holder have left us this week, and they were both almost legendary!. One was Kony Ealy of the Knights, one of only two active players to hold a Crowd Pleaser Bronze Medal and also holder of a DA Bronze Medal. Ealy was also the highest ranked active lineman in the DLE and a season 1 veteran. The other was Matt Kalil, Unicorn’s ogre. He was famous for the most devastating Block in DLE history, which killed two Buccaneers players (!), and was the holder of a DA Gold Medal and a Crowd Pleaser Silver Medal. rest in Peace, both of you!   Dietmar Althoff Platinum Medal: Najee Goode, Crimson Cascade Dietmar Althoff Gold Medal: Alf Qvarnstrom, Marauders (New) Dietmar Althoff Silver Medal: Leo Nomellini, 49ers; Gerald McCoy, Eagles; Jonny Jones, Razorbacks (with crossed Maces); Juqua Parker, Sluggers (With Crossed Maces) (New); Edd de Vries, Universe (New); Jerrey Riggs, Wreckers   Dietmar Althoff Bronze Medal: Quincy Black, Buccaneers; Najee Goode, Crimson Cascade; Brian Dawkins, Eagles; Jordan Jenkins, Eagles; Ray Childress, Foxes; Ameer Abdullah, Greenskins; Blair Martell, Gunners; Sonny Jurgensen, Knights; Christine Michael, Knights; Trey Ceratap, Legion; Adine Carr, Marauders (New); Ramiro Maextu, Rangers (With Crossed Lances); Jalen Ramsey, Sharks; Douglas Winston, Sharks; Ezekiel Ansah, Sluggers (With crossed Maces); Juqua Parker, Sluggers; Slugg jr., Sluggers; Ronnie Coleman, Unicorns (With crossed Maces); Joe Doe, Vikings; B.J.Dubose, Vikings; Denis Brown, White Wolves (With Crossed Lances)   Von Kassel Silver Medal: Rashard Robinson, 49ers; Tyrone Crawford, Bruisers; Xavier Dickson, Cardinals (New); Renate Rappenau, Thunderbolts  Von Kassel Bronze Medal: Cadell Osman, Foxes; Cody Core, Gunners; Matt Scott, Scimitars; Henry Miles, Thunder; Jon Munch, White Wolves; Christian Sam, Wolfskins Earlier recipients still active: Dietmar Althoff Platinum Medal: Ramiro Maextu, Rangers   Dietmar Althoff Gold Medal: Jose Chavez, Cardinals; Rob Havenstein, Classics; Bish “The Bash” Bosh”, Knights; Vincent Jonckers, Rangers;   Dietmar Althoff Silver Medal: Broderick Bunkley, Avalanche; Khalil Mack, Classics (With crossed maces); Will Moreland, Classics; M’Grash K’Trag, Foxes; Jack Pardee, Foxes; Siffridus Draken, Grizzlies; Konstantinos Laskarides, Grizzlies; Bish “The Bash” Bosh, Knights; Kendall Reyes, Patriots; Jason Taylor, Patriots; Ramiro Maextu, Rangers; Vincent Jonckers, Rangers (With Crossed Maces); Ronnie “Nott” Lott, Thunderbolts; Lane Johnson, Thunderbolts; Ronnie Coleman, Unicorns (With Crossed Maces); Brian Newton, Universe (With Crossed Maces); Harry Bellower, Vikings; B.J.Dubose, Vikings; Asnnel Robo, White Wolves; Albert Hudson, Wolfskins; Christian Sam, Wolfskins   Dietmar Althoff Bronze Medal: A.J.Derby, 49ers; Broderick Bunkley, Avalanche; Arthur Dent, Avalanche; Bruce Irvin, Avalanche; Darius Fleming, Bruisers (With crossed Maces); Khalil Mack, Classics; Will Moreland, Classics; Gerald McCoy, Eagles (With Crossed Swords); Jack Pardee, Foxes; Shane Ray, Greenskins; Whitney Mercilious, Griffins; Siffridus Draken, Grizzlies (With crossed Maces); Barry Little, Gunners; Michael MB Brockers, Knights; Laken Tomlinson, Marauders; Chad Clifton, Patriots; Kendall Reyes, Patriots (with crossed maces); Emmit Smith, Patriots; Jason Taylor, Patriots (with Crossed Maces); Mick Kabluski, Rangers (With Crossed Maces); Geno Smith, Rangers; Sir Gaston Mouffet, Rangers; Chance Warmack, Razorbacks; Jerome Bourdoncle, River Bandits; Newton Brown, Scimitars; Travis Frederick, Scimitars; Luke Joeckel, Scimitars; Tim Langer, Scimitars; Harry McBain, Scimitars; Akeem Spence, Scimitars; Andrew Luck, Thunder; Lane Johnson, Thunderbolts; Ronnie “Nott” Lott, Thunderbolts; Brandon Scherff, Thunderbolts (With Crossed Maces); Todd Nathanson, Universe; Harry Bellower, Vikings (With Crossed Maces); Duke Waagshinton, White Wolves  Von Kassel Gold Medal: Andrew Luck, Thunder   Von Kassel Silver Medal: Matt Forte, Classics (With Crossed Maces); Cadell Osmann, Foxes; Tony Steward, Grizzlies; Brane Zidina, Patriots; Mamadou Diamerra, Rangers; Brut de Feuer, Razorbacks; Logan Mankins, White Wolves   Von Kassel Bronze Medal: Ann-Katrin Lexer, Crimson Cascade (With Crossed Swords); Tyler Lockett, Wolfskins   Crowd Pleaser Silver Medal: Dan Marino, Eagles; Ramiro Maextu, Rangers   Crowd Pleaser Bronze Medal: Chad Clifton, Patriots
