DA Awards Season 9 – week 1 update

New season, and New possibilities…. And the DA Awards Committee want to give all the teams the greatest honours for using this first week to really grabbing these New possibilities!  This first week cost the League 1460tv in permed and killed players, the highest score ever in DLE history! And 15 out of 16 matches contributed to the Mayhem. Only Thunder vs Scimitars had zero contribution and deserves our scorn. Last season, the League lost 890tv in the first week, so we are already 570tv ahead of last season. There is also a record-breaking NINE Medals to be handed out this week!  Six of them are DA Bronze Medals, and they go to Brian Newton of the Universe, M’Grash K’Thragsh of the Foxes, Jerrey Riggs of the Wreckers, Lucius Drenthe of the 49ers, Joe Mays of the Patriots and Khalil Mack of the Classics. Of these six, Khalil Mack has one DA bronze Medal from before and gets it With Crossed Maces. A DA Silver Medal goes to Ramiro Maextu of the Rangers, and a DA Gold Medal goes to Ray Childress of the Foxes. Maextu has a Silver Medal from earlier and gets it with Crossed Maces. The final medal is a Von Kassel Bronze Medal to Matt Judon of the 49ers. Congratulations!

Several former Medal Holders left us this week. One of them was Bish Bosh, the Knights Franchise Player. This blitzer legend held a DA Silver Medal and a DA Gold Medal. Another legend, third ranked blitzer Ronnie “Nott” Lott of the Thunderbolts also left us. He held a DA Silver and a DA Bronze Medal. Ronnie Colemon, killer blitzer of the Unicorns held even more Medals; he held both the DA Silver and the DA Bronze Medal with Crossed Maces. Another killer blitzer, Jerome Bourdoncle did not even get to play a whole match for his New team Sluggers before he had to bite the dust. He held a DA Bronze Medal. Rest in peace!
