DA Awards season 11 – week 1 update

A New Season, New possibilities for Medals! And often the first two rounds will be full of Medals as all teams are loaded with fresh players and everyone is eager to play Blood Bowl. While this season started off as barely above the 700tv loss expected in a round, at 760tv lost it was still 530tv behind last Seasons opening week. Just about acceptable, in other words. And lots of ground need to be covered With blood next week to make up for the losses compared to last season. Thanks anyway to the coaches and the best wishes for a rough season!

Week 1 resulted in three new Medals to celebrate! Here are our winners!

  • A DA Bronze Medal to Lawrence Taylor of the Legion. Lawrence is the only active Legion player with a DA Award.
  • A DA Silver Medal to Fred Painter of the Universe
  • A DA Silver Medal to Harry McBain of the Scimitars. This is his second, so he gets it with Crossed Maces.

No Medal holders left us this week, but six were wavered after season 10. The biggest of these veterans were Foxes killer blitzer Jack Pardee. He held a DA Silver Medal, two DA Bronze Medals and was the only active player holding a Crowd Pleaser Bronze Medal. Diego Collinar of the Marauders was also wavered. He and blitzer colleague Ryan Callaghan of the Rangers both held a DA Bronze Medal. Brut de Feuer, Razorbacks kicker was also wavered. He held a VK Silver Medal. Thunderbolts TD record holder Renate Rappeneau was also wavered. He too held a VK Silver Medal. Finally, veteran quarterback Matt Scott of the Scimitars was wavered. He held a VK Bronze Medal. Rest in Peace, Brothers!
