DA Awards season 14 – week 1 update

A splendid start for a new season, eliminating 1110tv in the very first week. Although it was even better in first week last season, 1110tv is still a very good score. Nevertheless, we start 210tv behind last season.

We can also hand out five new Medals, the very first in S14! Here are this week’s winners:

  1. A DA Bronze Medal to Paul Wright of the Vikings
  2. A DA Bronze Medal to Saquon Barkley of the Bruisers
  3. A DA Bronze Medal to Jan Leiner of the Bruisers. This is his fourth so he gets it with Crossed Lances.
  4. A VK Silver Medal to Loren Toews of the Knights
  5. A VK Silver Medal to Chris Jones of the Legion

No Medal holders left us this week.

However, several Medal holders were wavered after Season 13. Bernie Kosar was one of them. The Crimson Cascade legend held a Dietmar Althoff Silver Medal. Wolfskins let go of two Medal Holders. Rufus Grange, the blitzer veteran, held a DA Silver Medal. One of DLE’s true oldtimers, big Guy Tony Mumbay also left the Wolfskins for retirement. He held a DA Silver Medal and two DA Bronze Medals. Avalanche dirty player Harrison Silveron retired due to extensive permanent injuries. He held a Von Kassel Silver Medal. Dirty player and kicker Auden Tate of the Marauders is also retired. He held a VK Gold Medal. Unicorns released killer blitzer superstar Jacques Dufourcq. He held two DA Bronze Medals. His colleague and season 3 oldtimer Chad Clifton also retired with a record 9 permanent injuries. He held a DA Bronze Medal. Gunners rookie blitzer Liam Greene also held a DA Bronze Medal. He was the only active rookie to hold a DA Award before his retirement. Thunder released two Medal Holders. One was Free Agent blitzer Elena Ambrosino. The former Saints College player held a DA Bronze Medal. Veteran dirty player Folorunso Fatukasi was also released. He held a VK Gold and a VK Silver Medal. Catcher Michael Thomas of the Scimitars was released, leaving with a DA Bronze MEdal. Finally, dirty player Dandria Palmer of the Classics left with a VK Silver Medal Enjoy your retirement, brothers!
