A very good week for the DA Awards office, although admittedly mostly due to the Autumn Equinox massacre in Kemperbad. 1070tv eliminated in total makes week 11 the fifth week this season with more than 1000tv eliminated. 1070 was also 430tv more than same week last season, so we are now 510tv ahead of last season. Good work!
There are also five new Medals to be handed out, and one of them a rare DA Platinum Medal, handed out only six times before. Here are the winners!
- A DA Bronze Medal to “Big Ben” Banogu of the Sluggers (from week 10)
- A DA Bronze Medal to Michael Dogbe of the Knights
- A DA Silver Medal to Chris Worley of the Legion
- A DA Platinum Medal to Ulf “Doctor Dead” Schmerz of the Knights. Only six such Medals have been handed out, and only one player, Dreng Bronson of the Griffins, have this Medal with Crossed Maces.
- A VK Silver Medal to Dax of the Gunners
One Medal holder left us this week. This was blitzer superstar Duke Riley of the Sharks. He was the holder of three Dietmar Althoff Bronze Medals and two DA Silver Medals. One was Grizzlies catcher superstar Chidobe Awuzie. He held a Dietmar Althoff Silver Medal. He was also one of the few active players to hold a Crowd Pleaser Gold Medal and also the only active Sharks player with a DA Award. Rest in Peace, brother!
