Not all Blood Bowl players are stars. Some don’t even want to be stars. But they enjoy to get out there on the field and play the ball and do their job. Erwin Grompfel was one such player. The former janitor at the Colour Works became the teams kicker when Crimson Cascade started it’s fairytale as a DLE team. He went out there in more than three full Seasons and kicked the ball for 50 games, lasting 398 turns before his life ended in the week 5 homematch against the Marauders. His greatest moment was in season 4 when he scored the equalizer in the week 13 game versus the Wolfskins, the only TD in his career. That got him a quick interview and mentioning in the Carroburg Tageszeitung. Crimson Cascade mourns the passing of this everyday hero and CCC veteran. His name will live on in the team’s Hall of Fame.
